Hi, I’m Ellen—the believer behind Line by Line Collective.
I created this space to share the scriptures I study during my quiet time and invite others to grow in the Word alongside me. I don’t have all the answers, but I believe truth unfolds when we walk through it together.
I’m a Bible study creator, a newly discovered lover of journaling (that’s often where my studies begin), and an encourager - learning to live grounded in the Word- and saved by grace.
Most of what I write is what I need to hear, too, and I’m grateful you’re here to walk this path with me.

At Line by Line Collective, we believe that Scripture speaks—clearly, powerfully, and personally. This space was created for those who are hungry to go deeper—not just in knowledge, but in relationship with God. What began as a personal study journey has grown into a collection of printable devotionals, journaling prompts, and themed Bible studies—all rooted in Scripture, thoughtfully written, and designed to invite reflection. Our studies are not about speed or surface—they’re about slowing down and allowing the Word to unfold, line by line.

Why I Still Love the KJV...
…despite the many translations available today.
Generations of believers have cherished the King James Version (KJV). Its beauty and poetic rhythm are timeless, and its reverence for God's Word makes it a faithful companion!
What I love most about the KJV:
• Its poetic and majestic language helps me slow down and revere the Word.
• Its deep theological richness has stood the test of time; it’s still, among all its revival translations, the most widely loved.
• So many memorized Scriptures and hymns were built from this text (and nothing in modern music compares to the old hymns (for me, anyway!).
• It keeps me grounded in tradition, which is deeply important to me.
• It draws me near to God’s voice.
For group or teaching use, I may share from the NKJV or ESV to help others understand more clearly. But in my quiet time? I still return to the KJV because it speaks to my heart.
